John Bock: Koppel

With video stills, artist texts, photos and sketches this book documents approx. 18 performances that John Bock presented these past two years, 10 of which are from his contribution to last years documenta 11 in Kassel ("Gribbohm 2B", "Küchenvideo"), as well as "ZEROHERO" (Munich 2003), "Alice Cooper" (Berlin outskirts), "Backstage Modenschau" (Copenhagen, 2003), "Interest" (Japan Triennale) etc. John Bock is considered one of the most promising and innovative young artists of today. Imbued with energy and humour his performances, videos and installations create surrealist worlds made of found objects. In his work he incorporates curiosity, research drive and the wish to take account of many areas of experience.
